About the Ocala Zoological Park and Aquarium

The Ocala Zoological Park and Aquarium is a digital engagement and membership platform built for the Ocala Zoological Park and Aquarium in Ocala, Florida. This app serves as the central hub where visitors, members, and wildlife enthusiasts can explore our animals, plan their visits, stay informed about upcoming events, and support our conservation mission. From browsing featured species across our habitat zones to purchasing founding memberships and making donations, the platform brings the full zoo experience online and into the hands of our community.

The app is designed for everyone who loves wildlife. Families planning a day out can check hours, browse the daily event schedule, and navigate the park with our illustrated map. Members can access a virtual membership card, track their benefits, and receive renewal reminders. Supporters can contribute to conservation efforts through secure donations and founding membership tiers, while newsletter subscribers stay connected with monthly conservation updates and weekly zoo news. Our staff also rely on a dedicated portal for member verification, directory management, and check-in tracking to keep operations running smoothly.

This platform is built and maintained by the team at the Ocala Zoological Park and Aquarium, with support from the Base44 platform. Our mission is to foster a deeper connection between people and nature, advancing wildlife conservation through education, community engagement, and responsible stewardship. Every membership purchased and every donation made through this app directly supports the care of our animals and the preservation of endangered species for generations to come.
